The Bus Left the Main Road at Night. Everyone Thought the Driver Had Made a Mistake. Only My Husband Realized It Wasn’t an Accident…

I knew he had worked different jobs when he was young, but never this one.

“There used to be an old service station up here,” he continued. “Then they shut it down. The road was barely used after that.”

“Then why are they taking us there?”

“I don’t know.”

But from his voice, I could tell he suspected something.

Finally, the bus began to slow down.

Ahead, a small building appeared.

Dark, one-story, half-abandoned.

Two cars were parked beside it.

Their headlights were on.

Several people inside the bus immediately started asking questions loudly.

The driver said nothing.

Then the door opened.

Two men were standing outside.

They didn’t look like tour workers.

They wore ordinary dark jackets.

One of them stepped onto the bus.

He looked at all of us.
