The Pregnant Woman’s Belly Became Covered in Thick Dark Hair, but When the Doctor Examined Her Ultrasound, He Immediately Told Her Not to Leave the Hospital

Nia stared at him.

She had arrived expecting an ordinary ultrasound.

Now a nurse was standing outside with a wheelchair.

Marcus rushed to the hospital as soon as she called him, but by the time he arrived, Nia had already been admitted.

That night, doctors repeated her blood tests and performed additional imaging while Nia lay in bed with both hands around her enormous stomach.

She barely slept.

Every possibility she had tried not to imagine ran through her mind.

Cancer.

Emergency delivery.

Losing the baby they had waited six years to have.

Shortly before sunrise, Nia heard voices outside her room. Dr. Harris was speaking quietly with another specialist.

She couldn’t hear everything they said.

But she clearly heard one sentence.

“If the results confirm what we’re seeing, we need to decide quickly how to protect both mother and baby.”
